A place that strengthens hearts!

What is Lichtblickhof?

Lichtblickhof is an extraordinary therapy center that is highly respected far beyond national borders. Above all, however, it is a place of life, comfort, and support for families whose child is affected by an incurable and life-limiting illness.

Despite these deeply challenging circumstances, the 15-member multidisciplinary team of therapists, together with 19 specially trained therapy horses, succeeds in creating precious moments of joy, offering renewed strength, and compassionately accompanying families on their journey.

As experienced therapists and a non-profit organization, we support children and young people through difficult phases of life with our horses and other therapy animals. Our specially developed form of therapy, known as “EQUOTHERAPY,” was originally carried out exclusively with horses. Over time, we have further developed this concept and successfully expanded it to include other animals as well.

Why does WECH support this organization?

For us at WECH, it is something truly special to support an organization like Lichtblickhof. Every single day, their team works with extraordinary dedication, compassion, and professional expertise to accompany families through one of the most difficult times in their lives. This work deserves not only great respect, but also tangible support.

What touches us most is the way help is provided at Lichtblickhof: with warmth, dignity, and a deep understanding of the needs of children, young people, and their families. It is not only about therapy in the traditional sense, but also about creating moments of joy, relief, and connection. Especially in times of hardship, such moments are truly invaluable.

As a company, it is very important to us to take responsibility and to offer support where commitment has a direct and meaningful impact. Lichtblickhof does remarkable work that goes far beyond what could ever be taken for granted. This unique combination of professional care, animal-assisted therapy, and genuine humanity makes it a place we wholeheartedly support.

We are grateful to be able to contribute to the continuation of this valuable work, so that affected families can continue to find a place where they experience support, comfort, and moments of hope.
